The 21st annual Run for the Apples 5 Mile Run and Walk is Saturday, October 20 at Pine Tree Apple Orchard in White Bear Lake.  One of the highlights of the day will be meeting Olympian runner Carrie Tollefson.  Carrie will be there from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  Get to know Carrie a little better by watching her weekly video show C Tulle Run  http://www.facebook.com/CTolleRun

This week is the Square Lake Triathlon north of Stillwater, MN.  The short course is on Saturday with a 1/2  mile swim, 18 mile bike and 5 mile run.  The long course is on Sunday with a 1.2 mile swim, 54 mile bike, 13 mile run.  Online registration closes at midnight, Sept 5 but there is race day registration.  Saturdays event begins at 8:00 a.m..  Sundays event starts at 7:30 a.m.
